"De Colores"for Hammered & Mountain Dulcimersarranged by Bonnie Carol This book's author, Bonnie Carol, grew up in South Texas hearing Latin American music and the Spanish language. Part of her musical career has included traveling in Nicaragua playing in local community theaters. She learned much of the music in LA MUSICA firsthand from Latin American musicians. It is arranged for both hammered and mountain dulcimers, presenting a unique and exciting new repertoire for both instruments. This song's lovely melody is enriched with harmonies of third intervals so often found in Mexican music.
